Russell-Cooper House

The Russell-Cooper House is positioned between Lake Hiawatha, Knox Lake and Apple Valley Lake in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This property is two blocks from the Dan Emmett Conference and Banquet Center, and five blocks from the city's Main Street, boasting quaint shops, a variety of eateries and antique stores. Mount Vernon Nazarene University is two miles away, and Kenyon College is less than five miles from the property.
The Russell-Cooper House boasts regal design characterized by high embossed ceilings, cherry, maple and walnut woodwork, etched and stained-glass windows, and a marble fireplace accompanied by a carved-cherry mantle. Candlelit gourmet breakfasts are served each morning in the breakfast room. High tea, luncheons and wine tasting are held at the house on occasion.
