The Inn at Fawnskin
The Inn at Fawnskin is located in Fawnskin, Calif. in the San Bernardino Mountains, where skiing, snowboarding and hiking are available. The inn is across the street from Big Bear Lake, which offers swimming and sailing, and is less than one mile from the Big Bear Solar Observatory. Positioned among more than 100 pine trees, this log cabin-style inn offers views of mountains, lakes and forests. Complimentary breakfasts are served in the dining room each morning. Restricted and vegetarian meals are available. The Inn at Fawnskin features a sitting room and a dining room, each with a stone fireplace. One dog lives on the property. Other pets are not allowed.
The four guestrooms at the inn are named after their views. All accommodations include private bathrooms. The Woodland Room offers a shower and the Lakeview and North Shore Suites offer soaking tubs. Select rooms offer televisions, VCRs and DVD players. The Garden Suite is located on the first floor and features a fireplace, private deck overlooking the lake and garden, jetted tub and separate shower in the bathroom and a piano. The Lakeview Suite features a sitting area, stone fireplace and a private balcony overlooking the lake. The North Shore Suite offers an overstuffed couch, rocking chair and CD player.
